Shuichi Saihara is a trainee detective. Kokichi Ouma is the notorious gang leader of D.I.C.E. When teenagers begin to get murdered in downtown Tokyo, and D.I.C.E is pinned with the blame, Shuichi's and Kokichi's paths cross to catch the true serial killer behind the gruesome murders and prove D.I.C.E's innocence.

After finding out who the true mastermind of the game was, Kokichi Oma was forced to participate in the new killing game along with 14 new students. The 16th student was none other than Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Despair Detective.

Danganronpa V3 was a virtual reality game where the creators have a contest to see who would be able to win the killing game. When you go into the game you lose all of your memories...but what if you were the only one to remember when you all came back? (Post Game AU.
