Emery Ashford had a smart mouth. She was known for it. As an outgoing teenager Emery was always hanging out with friends and with a lack of filter she always said what was on her mind. Especially if it had to do with that irritative jock. She hated him with every fiber in her body. She hated his charming nature, his arrogance, his lack of care, and the way he got on her nerves. But the thing she hated most, although she'd never admit it, is that she would stick up for him. Not like he ever needed it. She wanted nothing more than to get away from him. But it's completely impossible. He lived right across the street. Everything about senior year had been going smoothly until, Bang. Jackson Riley had a pretty mouth. Pretty face too. As the school's football captain he's always been the talk. For years he's been entertained by the smartass that is Emery Ashford. She was a pain in his ass, but he knew he'd be bored without her. When he ends up giving Emery another concussion, he's determined to make the last two months of her senior year hell. That's if he hasn't been doing that already. There's only one thing in his way. Concussion or not Emery isn't going down without a fight. It seems the more she doesn't want him around, the more he happens to be. She thinks her life is spiraling into the ground...but maybe she has it all wrong. With an offer she can't refuse and a heat of the moment bet, it's time for the both of them to realize that there's a thin line between love and hate. And with an injury like this, that line is surely to blur. #1 in annoying [12/30/22] #1 in brothersbestfriend [1/6/23] #1 in hate [1/15/23] #1 in teens [1/28/23] #1 in tension [3/18/23] #1 in summer [5/8/23] #1 in player [5/13/23] Started [Oct 2022] Finished [May 2023]

"What does one plus one equal?" I asked with a slight smug forming on my face, teasing him. "A child," he replied with a satisfied smirk. - Irene Anderson and Archer Everton. At first sight, they seemed like polar opposites. Though they were in the same grade and had similar classes, they were nothing like each other. Archer Everton was popular, athletic, and rich- everything was handed to him on a silver platter. Irene Anderson was invisible, always busied herself with work, and had to support herself since the start of high school. So when Irene agrees to tutoring Archer, many things could go wrong. Opposites shouldn't mix together, but they do. They can attract each other like many people say, or they could possibly do the exact opposite of just that. But as the saying goes, some things go deeper than the surface. © 2020 aspen

*WARNING: RATED MATURE DUE TO LANGUAGE/SEXUAL CONTENT. READERS MUST BE 17+* *CANNOT be read without reading prior novels in series* Asher Pryce hides behind a wall of secrets he's spent most of his life building up. How else is the adopted child whose birth parents run a drug cartel supposed to fit in? He's notorious for his overconfident swagger and total lack of patience for bullshit - a master of masks. The one thing in his life he can't fake? His feelings for his best friend's twin sister. When she returns back home after eight years of living in another city, Asher is ready to take their lifelong friendship to another level. Of course, life has rarely worked in his favour. Between the letters his birth parents keep sending him, a run-in with an old enemy that's out for his blood, and his responsibility to protect his adoptive parents from his fucked up birth family, he would only be putting the woman he loves in danger. He may make his living as a fighter but this is one fight he's destined to lose. Right? Aria Hunter has gotten pretty good at faking it until you make it. After getting through an abusive relationship and fleeing to another city Aria is ready to return home years later. Everything has changed, including her relationship with her best friend. There's a constant magnetic pull between them and Aria feels their intense chemistry with every touch and look Asher steals from her. Gone is the once scrawny and irritable ten-year-old boy replaced by a cocky and assertive man that's way too hard to resist. But his looks aren't the only thing that changed about him. When Asher finds himself part of his birth parent's crowd once again, Aria knows this only means trouble. The more she fights to keep him safe, the harder it is to hide how she feels about him. Maybe their feelings for each other just aren't meant to be realized. After all, falling for your best friend is just a cliché. Right? All rights reserved to TheFeveredBookaholic.

"He looked like an angel. Not like those people who call their lovers angel because they wanna be sweet, but in a way where if I met God today, Ryder, holy and good, would be standing right there. By God's right-hand side, obliged to give me a tender kiss. It's quite funny though, Ryder can never be holy." Aiko, the second child, has sealed the most important deal of her life. To be the next heir of the Rockefeller empire, Aiko has to complete the ten difficult tasks her brother, the supposed-heir, wrote on a leather-bound notebook and return it to him with proof before her graduation. Including a task of making a certain rich boy fall deeply in love with her. In Venisde Academy, she was a girl with a bleeding crevice tucked in her mind to which all hope for some sort of blithe burned to ice. But she could thank it, she would've been much more timid, if not for Zachary Vildan, until the boy left without a word one morning. Unmistakably, wordlessly, severing all ties with the girl. Every single thing was checked off on her list, yet for the past 2 years, she's been stuck on the tenth. 10) Make Ryder Peterson fall for you. It was the most difficult one of all, and approaching her senior year, she has lost all hope of Ryder ever falling for her. Just as she was about to give up on an empire that she once dreamed she would have in her hands, one night of chaos filled with mafias, blades, and four of the most powerful rich boys of Venisde Academy promising a contract with her would make her lost dreams reappear and tumble back onto her fast as she could ever imagine it to be.
