For years, no, her whole life, Naida Muriel has been attracted to the sea. It's rhythmic tide, soothing waves, powerful potential, and the way it seemed to sing to her when she was alone. All of her friends claimed they heard no singing, whether they were alone or with her. Yet, before dawn, before the birds sang, before the sun rose. and when the fog still clung to the sand dunes, she would walk down to the sandy shore and listen to the music of the ocean, singing meaningful lyrics in a language unknown to her. But she didn't need to know the words to know they were for her, her heart told her so. ~~~ After falling into the ocean during a storm, Naida dies, but because of her love and devotion to the ocean, it gives her a second life. ~ AVAILABLE ON AMAZON: https://www.amazon.com/dp/164434193X ~ She hated riding the subway. It was cramped, smelled, and the seats were extremely uncomfortable to sit on for hours on end. Now add a group of crazy mask-wearing, weapon-wielding, maniacs to the ever growing list of reasons why Gemma hated riding the subway. Gemma Conners is your average eighteen year old and for the past two years she's been riding the subway to and from school with no problem. She always expected the same ol' same ol'. Cramped spaces, hard seats, and perverts staring her up and down and "accidentally" bumping into her and blaming it on the train as it jostled people into one another. Never did she expect a group of masked men to rush in and hold everyone onboard hostage, demanding that they all play along with their sick and twisted idea of a "game". It was either that or die. To add on to her ever growing list of problems, one of the passengers onboard just so happens to be Archer Daniels, your typical high school "heartthrob" and Gemma's classmate. Her day just kept getting better and better. With Gemma's luck, she'd be lucky if she lasted five minutes. Yep. She really hated the subway. *Book Cover Credit: Irah Marie* Thanks again for making such an AMAZING cover!❤️

"If we were so riveted in the spectrum of nature, why did we stand, petrified, as we became corrupted by idle technology, stupefied by glowing screens, stolen from life as we know it from enemies right under our noses? Why did we relent to this obvious threat when we did have the capability to change, and prevent our peaceful hierarchy from being razed? It was the consequence of this stupidity that condemned us all to slaves, servants of a towering race of robots and data." The year 2096. Robots rule the world. Their grip seemed impenetrable, the extent of their control unknown by the humans. Society is blinded by the splendour and wealth of all the technology. "We live in mere fear, unable to access any computerised knowledge for fear of being discovered. We're convicted to the old ways of living, our specialists abilities unable to be used. It puts a very ironic twist on the definition of being free." COMPLETED --
