When she meets a charming, enigmatic man at this year's festival, she can't resist making a seemingly-innocent deal with him. But then he disappears. While trying to find a way to see him again, Kora is given a business proposal by her best friend. Kora must sneak into the one place where evil is allowed to roam free, and retrieve a dangerous magical artefact. Pushed out of her depth, she has to be quick to learn the ropes of the role she's been given. But when the plan goes wrong, will Kora fight her way home, or will her heart succumb to the darkness? This story is loosely inspired by the myth of Hades and Persephone. Danger, magic and allure can be found within.
