The only problem was that the simulator also gave him feelings of whatever he was doing in the simulation, meaning pain, exhaustion and even pleasure could be felt. Now this originally wouldn't be that bad but Izuku accidentally chose the hardest of the missions available, meaning he spent a long time surviving away beyond Mei's original expectations and spending year in the simulation but on the outside he was only in for about a full day. The question is, will he be okay after all he experienced? Will he go back in to get more experience to be a better hero? Or will he become something else, something more than a hero? Izuku is sold to the Yakuza by Inko and they find his skills quite useful, despite being quirkless (he has the abilities of Madara and Itachi Uchiha along with every chakra nature). Kai Chisaki is killed by Izuku when he finds out about his plans, he is then made the big boss of the Yakuza at 17(second year of UA).

This is an IzuJirou/DekuJirou pairing story. The idea behind it all is a song by Tai Verdes, and it's centered around the concept of two friends realizing the struggle of trying to be in a relationship after being friends. You can lose each other both romantically, and platonically if things do go wrong. But maybe the two will overcome the fear of losing one another.
