So, when they discover that one of Ignotus Peverell's descendants is unable to bear children, they take it upon themself to grant him and his wife a son. This is how Harry Potter's story began. The Dark Lord was finally whole again. The first thing he decides to do is return to his childhood home and burn it to the ground. However, as he goes to leave, he spots a small figure walking through the fire. The flames lick at the small boy, but he remains unharmed. Then, the small figure collapses. The Dark Lord rushes forward, intrigued by the small child. Upon closer inspection, he recognizes the small lightning bolt scar on the boy's forehead. This is how Harry Potter's story ended, and Hadrian Riddle's story began.

What if Harry didn't turn out how Dumbledore expected? What if he was changed by the horcrux and his experiences at the hands of the Dursleys? What if Voldemort got there first?
