After the war, everything went sort of back to normal for Demigods. And for some Demigods it was easy, others it wasn't. After a huge fight that broke up Percy and Annabeth, Percy turned to Nico, and things got more heated than he expected.

After returning home, Percy had an amazing few days back. Until he gets a text from Nico and realizes how shitty his life is going right now. Once that happens, he down spirals and doesn't know how to get help, only making it worse.

He tried to get over it. But it's hard to do that when everyone around you constantly keeps reminding you of what happened. So he ran away.

Nico finally gets the urge to tell Percy about his crush on him. And it almost went fine and dandy. Until he left.

It was all bullshit. You don't come out of war unaffected. Nobody does. You can't walk out of hell without it leaving a mark. It's never the same. There's just no coming back.

In Tartarus, something was turned on in Tartarus. It had nothing to do with Tartarus. Really, it had nothing to do with the gods in general. And Percy himself never realized this. Sure, he'd have shortages. But that's just the ADHD. When he has a seizure, people realize that he has something going on. Something Percy himself doesn't even know about.

After graduating college, Leo decides that it's about time to see his fellow demigods again, things are kind of weird. Mainly with Percy. And him not drinking isn't the only shocking thing that he tells them.

I mean, it wasn't planned, but that's not a bad thing. Sometimes it's better to just go with the flow and live with how life is going. That's what Percy and Nico did after sharing their first kiss.
