I love the 2012 series so I read some fanfictions and couldn't get this idea out of my head. Not best time to write it but with jobs and life in the way when is it ever?

Tommy and Tubbo are ghosts, but I changed the fundamentals of it, they aren't dead, they have some ghostly powers and rules, and they can switch back and forth, living to ghost.
