A new girl named Caitlyn Kiramman switches school districts, making friends with Vi quickly. Vi's sister, super genius Powder, goes on a journey to explore her mental health with the boy who's been by her side since elementary school. Ekko tries his best to support his long-time crush of 6 years.

But I take issue with most Jinx x Ekko fanfics/timebombs either rushing their complicated relationship from 0 (Enemies) to 10 (Best Friends/Lovers), often ignoring crucial aspects of both characters that define their trauma and willingness/unwillingness to reconcile with each other. Jinx is an incredibly complex character. Expect this story to explore that complexity to its fullest. I've been inspired to attempt the impossible; Showcase the most realistic possible path for these two to find their way back to each other. Arcane is a show of tragedy brought forth by circumstance. Unlike most fanfics, this one will focus on a realistic take of what their relationship could have looked like, if at one crucial moment, things went a different way.
