My cousin always referred to us as the bad jokes, as in...a blonde, a brunette and a redhead walk into a bar. I'm the blonde, and this is my story. When I was 18, a psychic told me to watch for the man with two hearts. That didn't make much sense, so I lived my life, not thinking about her fortune for my life. Then I met Wyatt and we fell in love. Until his ex-fiancee came back to him, and he chose her. Her heart. My heart. Two hearts. He's back, trying to explain things to me, trying to win me back and in the meantime, I'm also dealing with a stalker. But Wyatt's helping with that problem. Unfortunately, he's causing another problem: he's not taking no for an answer.

My cousin always referred to us as the bad jokes, as in...a blonde, a brunette and a redhead walk into a bar. I'm the redhead, and this is my story. When I was 18, a psychic told me to wait for the man with the scar. For five years I waited and then suddenly, there he was in front of me one night. No mistake -- this was the man. We got off to a bad start, and I just kept making things worse chasing after him. Until he let me know in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested in me. So I gave him what he wanted and ignored him. Then he decided he wanted me. And him getting me back was the least of our problems.

Alex had been my friend with benefits, and like a stupid cliche, I had to go and fall in love with him. I thought...I really thought...he was falling in love with me, too. Getting ready for a serious relationship. And he was. Just...not with me. He told me he wanted to find a girl just like me...

Book Two in the Modern Cliches series ~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey there, my name is Ethel Bethany Linde. I am your perfectly prudish, average twenty-five year old girl. The only thing I am above average in is the fact I made it to twenty-five while still being a virgin. Yes, I managed to make it through my hormone fuelled teen years and college years with my virginity in tact. Although not for lack of trying on my part. So with that prudish exterior, I have absolutely no fucking clue how to explain or count for the fact I lost my virginity to an Incubus who was summoned to torture and kill me, via sex. Which according to some ancient demon law means we are practically married in the (un)holy eyes of Hell. Yes, by some unholy, cosmic act of fuckery, I accidentally married a fucking demon. Thankfully, Mazvahr (Maz for short), was just as enthused as I was and we set upon a mission to find the man who summoned an unholy Incubus to do the dirty deed, in more ways than one, and kill him. Stuck next to a powerful demon, who requires sex to charge him up and has a super weird rope fetish, to hunt down the asshole who did this to me, all I can say is: F*ck me.

One fiasco of a wedding. One rogue. Two mates. Mariana didn't sign up for scandal of the year when she agreed to attend her beloved sister's wedding. But that's exactly what she got - that and an awful pink monstrosity of a dress. Her peaceful life in a bikers bar was traded for two wickedly handsome brothers willing to chase her down to the edge of the world. And one hell of a chase it was... --.-- Mariana could hear distant yelling. Glancing back, both of her eyebrows shot up at the sight. Flock of men in size of a football team were chasing after her across the lawn. Suit jackets and ties were tossed onto the ground one by one. Some even abandoned shoes to run faster. Logan and Caleb had joined the race along with her brother and his goons. She was sure she caught a glimpse of at least two confused humans as well. Poor boys props were thinking that this was some sort of game. Winner gets it all or whatever. I did not see that one coming! I will apologize to Sophie and all the single ladies later! She forced her legs to go faster. In distance she saw the rusty pickup waiting for her. Thank the lucky stars she was smart enough to leave the keys in ignition for a quick escape. Mariana yanked open the drivers side door, nearly diving into the seat. She turned the key, ready to violate the gas pedal, when the truck gave a discouraging ra-ta-ta-ta noise. Oh, hell no.
