They had waited a few weeks to declare their relationship, Chat Noir and Ladybug had claimed their relationship two weeks prior. Akumas still followed Marinette, as her civilian self and as her super hero self, but Adrien, both as himself and Chat, were always there to make sure that nothing happened to his Princess. But what happens when Marinette disappears and Ladybug no longer rules the skies? What will happen to Chat? Marinette stumbled forward in a panic, her feet twisting over each other in a desperate attempt to speed up. She fell forward, tears falling into the air, and crashed into the rising form that had once been Adrien. A grunt and scream sounded before the pair landed on the dirt. Hawkmoth gaped from above as Marinette blushed furiously from atop Adrien. Or at least... what had been Adrien. Her blush faded quickly, horror taking its place. Everyone has their own song. It's different for every person and nobody has the same song as you. That is, except for your soulmate. Nino has stumbled upon Adrien singing his song and is very embarrassed. That was a special moment for his friend. He's determine to make it up to him and what better way than to help him find his soulmate? All he has to do is find the person who has the same song as his friend. What he did not expect to find is a black cat themed superhero with he same song as Adrien. Regardless of the surprise Nino is now determine to get Chat Noir and Adrien together. What could go wrong? "I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Because this cat's curious, And his bad luck might just start catching up to him... Minor Adrienette and LadyNoir. Based off the events of season one only and set two years in the future.
