However, just as a second world war was on the horizon, an enormous magical gate opened in Berlin. From this gate poured an army of armor-clad warriors and mythical monsters from another dimension, led by a man who proclaimed the creation of the "New Arthurian Province." Although the attack was successfully repelled, the gateway - dubbed the "Gate of Dimensions" - remained in Berlin. Fearing further assaults, the Kaiser mobilized a massive army composed of tanks, infantry, armored dogs, and supersoldiers to explore the other side of the gateway.
