Merlin has been waiting for Arthur for centuries. The Once and Future King still hasn't returned from Avalon's waters-but Merlin still waits faithfully for his King. Things don't seem any different than usual today, what awaits Merlin will change what he thought he knew about normal. I don't own Merlin. All rights go to BBC. The story-line is my own.

Arthur finds out about Merlin's Magic. he doesn't know what else to do and banishes Merlin, much to his friend's chagrin. Merlin is greeted by some old friends who help him become the powerful warlock he is meant to be while providing refuge for all magic beings.

More than 1,000 years after Arthur's death, Merlin is still waiting for his King's return. He waits in an abandoned, yet fully decorated observatory on the shore of the Lake of Avalon. An observatory that he has decorated to his heart's content, a place truly fit for a King. He couldn't wait for the day that Arthur would see it.

They're still alive. Prince Otho bowed, as everyone else had. The knights bowed, as everyone else had. They took their place beside Cenred's men. Everyone was staring. And an openly gay Merlin and slightly confused Arthur I was told my chapters were a tad bit too long, so I try to keep them all within 700-1200 words I will publish in parts.
