Then, one day, Izumi breaks his arm. His quirk suddenly manifests, with bone armor appearing over his arm. When he finds out that he does actually have a quirk, he's enraged. Enraged at his mother, who told him he was quirkless. Enraged at his Stepfather, Toshinori Yagi, who never respected him. He leaves him home, and heads outside of the city, where he meets an old man who offers to train both him and his quirk. 2 years later, he reappears, a changed kid.
