Negan comes for his first pickup after he met Rick and his team in the woods... Everyone is still mourning over the death of Glenn and Abraham.. Rick is struck pretty hard over it and keeps having nightmares about it.. He doesn't eat anymore, because if he eats it reminds him of seeing Glenn's head being plowed into the ground.. Negan finds out about it and tries to help Rick... But his feelings from day 1 comes creeping up and they discover they both feel the same way about each other.

Had to change the title a bit from what I had it as on AO3(I'm negickapologist/neganstonguething over there) because of the text limit here. Anywho: In which the residents of a small town in Georgia provide some outside perspective on what the hell is going on between Rick and Negan, until Rick figures his shit out.

In any given day, Negan can easily come up with ten things he loves about Rick. Just a late-night drabble written for feels venting when I was too tired to write anything else.

Sasha's response to Negan's question gets him worked up in more ways than one. You can blame grab-my-boner on tumblr for this one lmao.

Negan has severe anxiety, and he's 70% positive he has depression. Rick just wants to help him.

Alexandria falls and Negan comes to the rescue. But is he too late?

After escaping, a year later Negan finds he's drawn back to Alexandria, which he finds odd, because he knows if they find him they'll throw him back in that goddamn prison. But he finds he doesn't care, in truth, he wants to see Rick. When he shows his face at the gates, and narrowly avoids The Widow shooting him down, he finds Michonne, demanding to know where Rick is. When she informs him that Rick is gone, she leads him to her house, handing him a ratty old shoebox, falling apart and very worn out. (An AU where Rick dies after Negan escapes) "He left this for you."

Rick, Michonne and Daryl are looking for a new roommate. Negan just so happens to be looking for a place to stay. All hell will break loose as Michonne and Daryl silently wait for Negan and Rick to just get together (damnit) and Negan and Rick repeatedly deny their feelings for each other. Much to Michonne and Daryl's disappointment. (Heavily inspired by New Girl lol)

Negan failed to understand that Rick Grimes doesn't negotiate, and definitely doesn't take his men being killed lightly. Negan severely underestimated the leader of the saviours, and will soon regret crossing grimes. Rick is sure going to enjoy making him his pet. You can breathe. You can blink. You can cry. Hell, they're all gonna be doing that.
