"Apologies, sect leader Lan, but I am not a cut-sleeve even if you are." Jiang Cheng said and left. It has been an ordinary day for everybody. However, Lan Xichen, he didn't expect it'd be extraordinary. He met a special person during that seemingly special day... why didn't he notice it before? The way Jiang Cheng shines and stands out among the crowd... he must have been blind. Starting that day, he knew, he won't be satisfied just looking at Jiang Cheng from afar. Warning - angst: Jiang Cheng fell in love with Lan Xichen because of the guy's kindness he showed to him after his family and Wei Wuxian died. But, he saw Lan Xichen was in love with Jin Guangyao. He decided to hide his feelings. Years later and Wei Wuxian came back. He then decided to fall in love with Wei Wuxian, since they already have a past. But, Wei Wuxian is in love with Lan Wangji. When Jin Guangyao died, Lan Xichen came to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng's feelings became torn. Will he continue loving Wei Wuxian even though the other was already taken? Or... will he give himself another chance to love Lan Xichen again, even if he might be hurt again?

Lan Xichen's forehead ribbon flew as he loosely held it, and was accidentally caught by Jiang Cheng when Jiang Cheng came to the Cloud Recesses for a meeting. Lan Xichen found out it was Jiang Cheng who took his forehead ribbon, but Jiang Cheng didn't know Lan Xichen knew the fact. As they gradually meet each other due to their work, the two are plagued by the forehead ribbon's matter. I have to set everything straight and do everything right. Sect leader Jiang got my forehead ribbon and I will marry him. However, how will I tell him when he already said 'no' before I could start? Lan Xichen thought. I wonder who owns this forehead ribbon.
