This is the cheerleader George, football player Dream au nobody asked for... Clay "Dream" Collins is your average high school football prodigy, popular and charming. Nearly everyone at school is in love with him, most of which is from his own manipulation. George is a new transfer student that became captain of the cheerleading team. He is an optimistic boy who isn't afraid to dress feminine, and while many respect him for this, many judge him. After one eventful night at a party, Dream and George end up alone in a room, with George claiming he won't ever fall for Dream. Dream makes this his goal to change the male cheerleader's mind. George would claim to be unbiased vehemently, saying he loved each of the - very attractive, in his opinion - band boys equally but Nick could confidently tell you otherwise. Too many "but have you heard Dream's voice?" and "but Nick look at him!"'s haunted his dreams. Which was why he was currently walking to George's house, two backstage concert tickets tucked away safely, swearing to hold this over George's head forevermore. If only he could have know the chaos that would ensue.

So, I took the song "driver's licenses" by Olivia Rodrigo and made it into a dnf highschool band au fanfic... i'm not kidding obviously. He knows he's fallen too hard and too fast- he knows he's bound to bust. But he can't let the feelings die, he can't let them go. Instead he becomes close with the boy he's fallen for entirely. He starts to let himself believe that he might like him too until one event changes his perspective entirely and everything goes down hill from there. Or George is a new exchange student- he befriends this guy named Dream (who is in a band) and ends up falling in love with him, he grows so close to Dream. He lets himself believe that Dream could possibly like him back until one even changes his mind- and from there everything hits rock bottom. But..after you hit rock bottom all you can do is go up, right? This is a short DNF fanfiction! I hope you enjoy it :]
