However, a space military organisation, Gjallarhorn attacks CGS to disturb the independence movement. A rebellion is created when Mikazuki and a group of young boys that is leaded by Orga Itsuka decides to use the escaping adults of CGS as decoys. In a rush of survival, Orga then orders Mikazuki to use the Gundam Barbatos - a mobile suit that was used during the Calamity War and symbol of hope for independence - to protect the secret organisation.
