When U.A. High opened its doors for the first time, everyone wanted to go there. With the entire staff being made of top heroes, both retired ones and ones still working, it was basically guaranteed going there meant becoming a top hero. It's also a place that could attract a lot of villains. The only person that wasn't interested in it was me. I know in today's society, it was almost unheard of to not want to be a hero. I just had to make that mistake in applying to the school. Why would I apply to a school I didn't want to go to? Because my family expected me to be the next top hero. But I'm no hero. Status: Complete. Disclaimer: I do not own the world of My Hero Academia. I only own the story concept and the characters (as no characters from the show show up. Sorry, but this story takes place before then). Warning: strong language, violence (though, not to the scale that the show gets), scary sequences. The amazing cover was made by the wonderful @Jun_Penguin_. The beautiful Sakura Sakai Banner, Kaito Oba, Raiden Yamamoto, and Tami Smith banners were made by the talented @sun_jin The Ollie Davis banner was by me.

"How Can You Say Those Things and Keep a Straight Face?" All you want is for people to smile. That's the only reason you became a hero in the first place, but there are always people out there that you can't reach. When the boy with the blue, lacklustre eyes reappears; the mysterious ravonette from your childhood, you discover this sad fact. Is it possible to mend such deep, emotional scars? Can you save someone as twisted and warped as he is? Or has he always had such a flawed design? Harper Rye can, to put it simply, read minds. It's not something she consciously does. Her quirk simply allows her to pick up people's thoughts, regardless of whether she wants to or not. The fact that she can't turn it off makes having such a power nearly unbearable. To make matters worse, she's somehow managed to fall under the radar of the super-genius principal of UA high, Nezu. He's sure there's a traitor amongst them, and is convinced Harper is the key to finding them and shutting them down. Plunged into a world she never wanted to be in, Harper finds herself on the fast track to becoming a hero, maybe managing to make some friends for once in her life, and quite possibly saving Japan from near-certain destruction.

Your quirk allows you to feel others emotions through physical contact and make others feel whatever emotion you project on them. Your journey leads you to class 1-A, where you are suddenly face to face with one of the most emotionally reactive students of UA. But perhaps with time and persistence, you will see past the hard outer shell of this young man. The pictures, story line and characters used are not my own (aside from reader character). Although I may get away from the original story line. This is a fan fiction for My Hero Academia. If you haven't watched it already (da fuck?) you should. Expect this to be a long ass story because I just finished chapter 37 and I see no end in sight :)

There are plenty of quirks nobody has ever heard of. They pop up all the time. With each new generation comes a wave of possibilities for power, and for new breeds of hero to be born. The hero business is getting more powerful by the day, so you have to have one hell of a quirk to make it. Lillian Faust did not think she'd end up with a quirk, let alone one that had the potential to be a powerful tool if used correctly. Hailing from a family with a history of quirkless men and women, she's hesitant to tell anyone about her power, and what it can do. Shy, meek and all too humble, Lillian has to make a choice. Does she want to stay the seemingly quirkless daughter of a quirkless man and woman, or does she want to rise up and do what she always dreamed: become a hero. AMAZING COVER ARE BY @soggy_pizza
