When you find your soulmate your mark will glow the color of your soulmates hair or eyes. I.e. For a BakuDeku story Bakugo would have a fist or pen/pencil shaped mark because Deku writes in his notebook a lot and his quirk is One For All and it would glow green. It was the first day of the 4th year at Yuuei. Class 1A still had all of the same classmates from the 1st year.
