The girl fell asleep on her sixteenth birthday. April 16th, 1916. Everyone expected her to wake up soon; after all, it was a spontaneous coma. Like really, what? Who does that? But they all grew old and died, while she remained in the coma, as young as ever. She stayed asleep for close to a century and became known as the Whitefield mystery.
Harry was determined to figure out exactly what the heck was going on with her. See, he was a genius and had invented a cure for the common cold (which had won him the Nobel Prize, duh). QED, it should be fairly easy to figure out who, what, when, where, why, and how. Right?
How about no? Turns out, science does not know everything. Magic still exists.
