Built over the ruins of St. Mercy's Home for Children, a grim orphanage burned down in the 1960s, Camp Mercy has long been the subject of campfire stories, especially about the child who started the fire and vanished into the woods.
Each summer, kids whisper about "The Orphan," a burned boy in a burlap mask who punishes liars, thieves, and cowards. Most believe it's just legend until this year.
When campers and staff begin vanishing in gruesome fashion, tensions rise. But what begins as a traditional slasher quickly shifts: the killer isn't just punishing at random, they're selecting victims tied to very specific traits and past actions.
