The world has been saved by the Dragonets of Destiny. The two sisters who blister and burn have died, and the sister who blazes learned and bowed to Queen Thorn, ending the War of SandWing Succession. However, as the whole world knows, although Queen Glory has helped fulfill the prophecy and save all of Pyrrhia, Glory was a replacement for the SkyWing egg of prophecy that was killed the night before they all hatched... ... ... Brisktail spun around. His eyes scanned the leafless bushes behind him and he lifted his snout to scent the air. Dragonscent, he thought, catching the smell as the wind blew it to him. Even his keen eyes couldn't pick up the creature until it moved. A dragon emerged from the bushes. It was white with brown markings crisscrossing its scales. A row of long pearly quills ran from its head to its tail, and the dragon ducked its head so as to not catch its pronged horns on the bramble thorns. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future.
