He had already fallen into the portal. As Midoriya was falling, he looked at the portal. The portal was closing up but it stopped at a small size that only a eye can peek through it. As he looked down below him he saw trees as he tried to land for safety but couldn't as he hits the trees and falls to the ground with bruises on his body. 4 particular girls saw him as they rushed to his aid.
