On the very first day of their new-found friendship, Sherlock manages to figure out John has PTSD, that his favorite author is mystery writer Agatha Christie, and that John's limp is psychosomatic. After a few weeks of knowing each other, John finally explains what has caused his PTSD induced nightmares without giving too much away, but will that be enough for Sherlock?
