Max has lived a hard life, and can't take any more abuse, so when camp is close to its end, David got rather suspicious that something might be going on with max. Max refuses to tell David, and in doing so goes back with his abusive family. Max then decides to leave his family after a painful beating he had received. He then runs away to find David. (Not completed yet)

"You're safe now, Max." - Max had been having nightmares up to the last day of camp. They were all about home. Knowing his parents would leave him there to rot, he runs off without David or Gwen knowing. He left only to come back to the closed down camp-little does he know, somebody decided to lurk around for a while. - Hey guys! I haven't been active at all but bleh. I lost all my motivation but that's okay. At least it's still higher than my self esteem-

This story will be about Max's new life living with David as his son. The new life where they live in a Blockbuster storeroom, in the mall where dreams go to die. At least all the campers live around there too and they don't cause too much trouble......at least he still has David, something Max is coming to appreciate more and more as time goes on. This is a sequel to my other story 'Adopt me, you son of a bitch!'. It's the end of camp, and David decides to take in Max after he notices how terrible his parents are. Of course his parents were willing to give him up for nothing. When David brings Max home, he thinks it's going to be amazing, but it's not all he thought it would be. For both of them, this whole new situation is new. David has never been a dad, and Max has never had someone who showed as much attention as David is doing. Both of them are overwhelmed and stressed out about every thing going on. Of course, Max tries to keep to himself and David tries to help no matter what. Maybe they will both realize how to help each other and might become the family Max needed and David wanted all along.

They had the address, finally, and now all they had to do was bring him home. Apparently, life had other plans.
