[Featured Story and Wattpad Prize Winner 2014] When Malachi, an exiled murder, activates a magic relic and duplicates his world, he uses his newly found power to win over the Larks, dog-like creatures from the North. Seeking to locate his missing daughter and plot revenge on those responsible for her disappearance, Malachi marches south, leaving destruction in his wake. Whik Winfield, a young, adventurous Hemonstalian, is swept up in the chaos. He escapes with fellow survivors to the mysterious island of Sebolt, leaving everything he knew behind, including his best friend Sonora. Whik hoped peace could be restored in his new home, but when he finds a mysterious device and creates a world of his own, his troubles double. Can Whik understand how to wield his world-building power before Malachi takes it all away? When the path of worlds can change with a shift in the wind, Whik learns that all second chances come with a price. This dark fantasy novel interweaves Whik's story at ages 9 and 17, as he comes to terms with creating another him, attempts to stop the fall of his nation from a ruthless murderer, and realizes that in order to save the girl he loves in one world, he may have to die in another.

Hundreds of years ago, humans avoided a complete annihilation. On one condition: they had to be strong enough to fight their enemies before a millennium. At that time, a sword was given to the humans by the enemies. They said that if someone pulled the sword out of the rock they pierced it in, human race would be finally ready for war with them. Jayce Reynard was always getting beat up, bullied, or picked on. Just because he was different. Just because he had white hair and red eyes. He was living a painful, but normal life until the day his dad was killed by a dog like monster. Seeking revenge, he chased down the monster deep into a mountain, but instead of killing the thing, he just almost died himself. His will to survive was greater than ever when he found a sword stuck to a rock right in front of him. He pulled out the sword and slayed the demon. But when he did, he never would have thought that a small revenge would force him into a secret war that has been going on for hundreds of years. Hello readers! Thank you for even clicking on BLADE, but it would be great if you could comment and vote as well. Hope you enjoy my story!

One of the most important questions of the human race has just been answered, are we alone in the universe? Something tells me we'd have been better off not knowing. Follow the survivors as they fight for their survival and then turn their thoughts to revenge for what had been done to them. Will they be able to against any enemy far superior? There's always hope and they're going to need every ounce of it they can muster. Authors Note: This is my first work, I told my son who's nine years old, that you can do anything you want to do, if you not good at it and you still want to do it then go for it. He asked me what i wanted to do but didn't think i'd be any good at. I stupidly answered his question and this was it, writing. So he promptly told me i should follow my own advice and that he would read it if no one else did. Then being a little smart ass he found watt pad and signed himself up to it so that he could read the story i was going to write. So i dedicate this to my son Stephen, the little smart ass and to all the people who just do it because they want too.
