Starvation seems inevitable until Leon, a chivalrous merchant comes along to bring her to a city she's never heard of before. From there, life could be perfect were Ivy not still caught up on the secret love affair she harbored in her tower, the one thing that seemed to keep her going, through days of misery. And so begins a whirlwind of adventures. In her quest to find her love, Ivy encounters a family of dwarfs, a beached mermaid, a small town fairy, and all manner of things she could never have dreamed of. [ #JustWriteIt - #WattyAwards2014 - #NaNoWriMo ] Princess Maxine's family suffered the heartbreak of her mother's kidnapping years ago, but it's in the past... or so they thought. There's more to her kidnapping than Maxine ever knew, and it's become painstakingly evident that she's next, especially after a pirate attack that led to her disappearance. If only she knew why. Among the confusion of being forced prisoner, no one dares speak a word to her of what Captain Avarice has planned, and her mother is a topic that none of the pirates would touch with a ten foot pole. It's agonizingly obvious that whatever Avarice has planned, it's far more terrible than anything Maxine would even consider. Crossed between her desire to go home, and a growing appreciation for life on the sea, Maxine finds herself falling for two men at once, befriending the crew, and stuck in a rut where tensions grow high around the conflicts she faces. Amid danger and romance, Maxine's life is about to make a turn-for the worse or for the better? [CHECK OUT THE TRAILER!]

The land is always covered in snow, so how can anything - let alone anyone - survive there? They don't. At least not without the Ice Queen's permission. It's her land that goes on for miles, her power that she gains from the cold, and her wickedness that has kept her the most feared living thing for over a thousand years. And that will soon be my land, my power, and my throne, because on my 100th birthday, I will kill my mother. ***SIDE NOTE: I KNOW THERE ARE ERRORS IN THE STORY ( GRAMMATICAL, TENSE SHIFTS, SPELLING, WRONG WORDS ETC. " Across country? With you?" " admit it, you want to." -- Carter Grace didn't like her neighbor. She didn't like his love for old rock music, beanies, and worn black combat boots. She didn't like the way he'd smile a smile where the right corner of his mouth would tilt up just slightly more than the left. She especially didn't like it when he called her Angel. Nicholas Arson has a passion for the simple way of things, old rock, batman, and his worn combat boots. He loves to drown out the world with his music. He especially loves playing the piano, guitar, or any instrument he could get his hands on. He also finds joy in bothering his next door neighbor, Carter Grace. And when Nicholas learn that Carter's grandmother is all the way across the country, and that his Angel was going all the way to her to bring her home, he couldn't help but bud in. -- " I'll drive you the whole way there, and pay for gas."

The world as we know it ended 209 years ago. From a desert wasteland springs a single kingdom, ruled by a tyrannical King and trapped in an endless war against the shadowy desert warriors. As a desperate bid to save what remains of humanity, society has been split into two distinct classes, nicknamed the Court and the Commons. For an oppressed population on the brink of revolution, a common thief could be the last hope. Up until now, Kay has survived by her wits alone. Reckless and impulsive, wanted by the King's guard, Kay has become known as the Runner. Using the city's rooftops as her personal domain, she manages to keep one step ahead of the King with one hand buried in the purses of the courtiers. Driven by the plight of the commoners and the unjust death of her family, Kay seizes the chance to graduate from small-time thievery to full-scale rebellion. Her opportunity comes in the form of Will, a wealthy ex-soldier with a dark past. Plucked from the streets and thrown into the shimmering palace court, Kay must use her every strength to blend into a world where she doesn't belong, closer to the enemy than she ever thought she would be.
