Nightwing was first to meet you in person and get you in the family, Batman was against it, his butler Alfred wasn't. You first saw them as a family you didn't belong, but you idolized Nightwing, he looked like how would you be if you weren't a trained killer, you wanted to be like Nightwing... you saw him more than a idol, as an older brother, like a family.
