Four months ago, Earth was attacked by a cyborg species called Scrappers. Two months ago, the Scrappers stopped killing and started taking. None of the captured have been seen again. ** The eyes looking back at me weren't black. His hair was plastered to his head, the same as mine, and that also surprised me. Scrappers didn't sweat. They also didn't breathe heavily, as this one was doing now. He was just as frantic as I was, and his eyes were also just as fearful and wide. He was human. But his arm wasn't. ** Now, within dead cities and abandoned highways, Morgan fights to stay hidden from the Scrappers as they search for humans. She travels alone and trusts no one but herself. But when Morgan meets a boy named Jude with a metal arm, something only the Scrappers could have given him, she chooses to trust him despite her fears telling her otherwise. Not only was Jude taken by the Scrappers, but he was also the first one to survive them and now they want him back. With the Scrappers still hunting them, Morgan and Jude travel east in hopes to find more humans. As their group slowly grows, Jude hides the secret about his arm but when one of their group betrays them, he's found out. When they leave Jude behind for the Scrappers to find, Morgan surrenders herself over with him, even when it may cost her her life. As final a battle rages around them between humans and Scrappers, Jude and Morgan may be the key to ending it all.

Today, he's a high school dropout with no future. Tomorrow, he's a soldier in World War II. Kale Jackson has spent years trying to control his time-traveling ability but hasn't had much luck. One day he lives in 1945, fighting in the war as a sharpshooter and helplessly watching soldiers-friends-die. Then the next day, he's back in the present, where WWII has bled into his modern life in the form of PTSD, straining his relationship with his father and the few friends he has left. Every day it becomes harder to hide his battle wounds, both physical and mental, from the past. When the ex-girl-next-door, Harper, moves back to town, thoughts of what could be if only he had a normal life begin to haunt him. Harper reminds him of the person he was before the PTSD, which helps anchor him to the present. With practice, maybe Kale could remain in the present permanently and never step foot on a battlefield again. Maybe he can have the normal life he craves. But then Harper finds Kale's name in a historical article-and he's listed as a casualty of the war. Kale knows now that he must learn to control his time-traveling ability to save himself and his chance at a life with Harper. Otherwise, he'll be killed in a time where he doesn't belong by a bullet that was never meant for him.

Many people believe that the blind are only those who can't see. They are wrong. Everyone is blind, in one way or another. Blindness comes in many forms. Those who are blind to the evils of the world are blind to reality. Those who are blinded by beauty are consequently blind to the fact that it comes with a price. And those who are blinded by light are also blind to the notion that it is accompanied by shadows. And though I must admit that I, too, was not above being blind. I knew the shadows all too well. My life was lead in the shadow of a wall; I was born shrouded in it, and if it were up to them, I would die the same way as well. The very moment I began to understand the world around me was the same moment it came crashing down. For at that moment, I realized that this wasn't my world. It was theirs. I had previously said that I was not immune to blindness. I knew I was different, but as they say, everybody is different for a reason. But I was blind to the fact that my reason was him. I was blind to the cruel twist of Fate that allowed my captor to become my liberator, and I was blinded again by the same cruel twist of Fate that made my liberator my captor. I was blind to the implications of making a deal quite literally signed in blood, and I was blind to the fact that it would bind me to the life of another for eternity as we knew it. I was born for him. He was born to kill. But, despite being blind to all this, I swore would never be blind to one thing: Though I may wear the Devil's Heart around my neck and His mark on my skin, I will never call myself a vampire's Compeer.

It's just another one to add to the pile: REJECT SONGS FROM KYLEE GRANDT Mom: Big Time Hollywood director Neighbor: Big Time Hollywood producer Ex- best friend: Rising star, plays the leading role on Mandy Crush: Hot Rising star, plays Daniel on Mandy Me (a.k.a. Kylee Grandt): Nobody singer/dancer/actress/songwriter How did I get left in the dust? *** You would think, with fame surrounding her, that Kylee would be a big star. But on the contrary, she seems to be the only 'normal' girl in a ten mile radius. If you can call having your best friend, your enemies, and your crush being stars 'normal'. But what happens when things finally start going her way? ***DISCLAIMER*** In Chapter two, Gabe and Kylee run lines. The credit for these lines goes solely to Billy St. John and Pioneer Drama Services. I did not write or have any say in writing Murder In The House Of Horrors, which is actually a real play. *******NOTE! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!******** So, I'm going through and editing.. Critiquing myself. And chapter with the chapter name under the chapter number has already gone through the first round of editing... Even though it's been edited though, I'm sure I missed something.
