Wriothesely is assigned a new mission, one to go undercover to work for a newly appointed CEO who has mysteriously and suddenly climbed up the ranks, however, this would promptly be the end of any peace he so wished he could have. An assassination attempt forces Neuvillette and Wriothesley to work together. But the case ends up getting a lot more complicated than they had thought it would. And so does their feelings towards each other.

Wriothesley takes it upon himself to investigate the sudden disappearances of melusines when Sigewinne doesn't return from her sudden day off. This leads him straight to the Chief Justice himself, only to find that Neuvillette too seems to have taken a few days off. Warning! This story, while just like my other stories, doesn't have smut, unlike my previous stories it is on the more mature side, here and there (mostly some jokes). Read at your own discretion.
