*lower case and misspellings are intended* dan is alone. he always has been. he would spend day in and day out on multiple chat websites hoping one day he indeed will find a friend. that is, until a certain boy named phil lester sends a chat request to him, and he flips his shit. some one had finally wanted to be his friend, but maybe he gets more than he had originally bargained for.

Dan and Phil are in love. Dan with Phil but Phil with someone they met in America- Noah. Noah isn't who he appears to be. This is their story. A story of blackmail, depression and love. Magic, illusion, love and destruction... Phil Lester came into this world like anyone else. However, he is far from normal. Born with intense magic powers, he has trained his entire life with a teacher to help him control himself so that he may live a normal and safe life without endangering himself or others. When he finally gets an opportunity to be on his own, Phil auditions for a magic and variety show in the city, where he meets the young proprietor Dan Howell. He is hired on the spot for his outstanding skill. Dan becomes intrigued by the talent of this new magician, but as he gets closer with him, he begins to think... Is it really all just an illusion? Phil is a vampire who believes that humans and night creatures should live amongst each other in harmony. Dan is a vampire hunter, part of the clan, and believes that vampires like Phil don't exist.

After a horrible accident, Phil loses his sight and goes completely blind. Dan's help has been amazing to get him through it, but Dan can't help falling in love with his best friend - now in daily need of his care and attention. This story is about love and trust, and how two friends - much more than friends - overcome the odds of a disability, and how they realize that no matter how difficult it gets, they will always have each other.
