Ryuu, a little boy at the age of five, is quickly thrown into a new life when the village he once called his home is under attack from a force that was believed to be destroyed 300 years ago. Akihiro, Ryuu's older brother, brings him to Konohagakure to be put in the care of his old friend, Hatake Kakashi. Ryuu slowly makes new friends, some of which are very unexpected. When Ryuu meets Inuzuka Hana, Hana finds that the little boy she has heard so much about from shop owners and friends, doesn't exactly match his scent. Not long after Hana's discovery, the Hokage sends three Jonin, Asuma, Gai, and Anko, out to find the legendary sannin Tsunade, to help Ryuu out with something that could become an issue with other kids and adults in his future if not taken care of before he hits puberty.
