This story takes place in the same AU and timeline as "Here to Help" and will mainly be formatted as a series of one-shots. These shorts can be read independent of "Here to Help" but contain spoilers and serve to build out the AU a bit more. I will mainly be focusing on Amity and Lilith's dynamic but will also be periodically exploring Amity's growing and relationships with Luz and co outside of the main plot of "Here to Help." After catching up with almost everyone, her friends invite her to a concert of one of the most popular bands in the Boiling Isles. So, what are the odds that her crush is the lead singer of the band? And what are the greater odds that she gets the chance to be the band's drummer? After a grudgby accident brings Luz and Amity together, Luz learns the horrifying truth of Amity's past and present while working through her own. Wanting nothing more than to help each other in their time of need, Luz and Amity unintentionally set out on a journey of coping, understanding, and growth as they begin to heal from their respective trauma while being there for one another. After Luz finds Amity in the girls bathroom they start spending more time together, will Amity try to explain to Luz why she stopped talking to her, better question will Luz listen?

Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.
