While the Motion picture did justice to the magnificent and heroic figures of Achilles, Odysseus and Hector, it didn't quite do justice to ALL of the Trojan War which lasted over 10 years. In that time Achilles had two loves. The first was Breseis, niece to King Priam and Priestess of Apollo. The second was Penthesileia , Queen of the Amazons who not only joined the Trojan War, retaking Troy from Achilles, she also stole his heart. Unfortunately, Achilles himself would come to realize this much too late. Only upon her death did he recognize her as his true love.

Alexandra is a Princess of Troy, daughter to King Priam and Hecuba. Twin to Paris of Troy, she is kidnapped in the Temple of Apollo along with her cousin, Briseis. Achilles, who takes a friendly liking in her, protects her while Patroclus falls in love with the Trojan Princess.
