But not Marinette. She had nothing.

At 16 years old, Marinette prepares for the chance of a lifetime. Internships, closer to defeating Hawkmoth, overcoming the awkwardness between her and her crush... but when her parents decide to leave for a baking contest in the states, she's told she can't live in Paris on her own. Determined to find a place to stay for the time being, Marinette comes across the only other option. Living with your crush seems exciting- I mean, it's a chance to get closer to him, right? But instead, what lies ahead is a road of rumors, lies, danger, confusion, awkward teenagers, and quite a few secrets that begin to turn both Adrien and Marinette's lives upside down. While fighting for both of their identities, both are busy with their lingering emotions. Will either of them be able to confess how they really feel to one another before the year is up? Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end?
