"...one by one the lights flickered off. The air-conditioner stopped functioning and the room was flooded with the humid warmth of mid-spring. From the bedroom, I heard the TV shut off as sounds of the football match abruptly cut off. A loud rumble that sounded like huge machinery cranking echoed through the corridors. The last bulb flickered off, and we were left enveloped in total darkness. Ruby's soft whimpers drifted into the bathroom. A last drop of water that had been hanging on the opening of the tap fell loose, hitting the sink with an unusually deafening 'plop'. A sick feeling began to rise in my stomach. Something has changed, something has happened. My life would no longer be mundane." A normal peaceful evening escalates into a nightmare when the school dormitory is placed on lockdown and Emaline is trapped inside. Armed with nothing but a baseball bat, Emaline will have to fight her way through new terrors that have arisen, friends that have turned into flesh hungry monsters and hostile troops. And every bite is fatal. A new world order has arrived, and you'd better learn the rules fast. Rated PG-13...I think? Just be prepared for some gory descriptions and strong language. Other than that, mostly just good zombie scares. ;)

"He was a smoker. She asked him why. He said it was his slow suicide." - REVIEWS: "Slow Suicide is one of the best books that I've read. A beautiful story of two strangers that befriend each other and it soon became love. Shows that you can brighten someone's day with just a simple greeting or maybe getting to know them. Cig and Rainy are a beautiful pair that brings light into the darkness and turns night into day with their love story." -@Kaybae1212 "A touching story of true love told through small, sweet encounters. So many twists and turns that you will never see coming. A beautiful and safe love story overall that will leave you in tears! (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)" -@Squirtle301 "Slow Suicide will make your emotions spin like the twists and turns of this story. Each chapter will make you wonder what will happen next. As a person who's not a fan of reading romance, this was definitely out of this world like no other. Filled with despair, romance, heartbreak, and twists, you would be questioning life even more. This is truly a must read. The author has truly captured my attention throughout the entire story, as every chapter is like a beautiful structure built in with the words that help me envision what love can evolve in." -@Hope-Mist - Book 1 in the "Pure Love Tales" series. Highest rank: #8 in Short Story.

*completed Navigating your way through an American high school is hard enough without adding an accent into the mix. British girl Evie seemingly had the perfect life. That was until the car accident that left her an orphan and only child. Her parents friends offer to take her in but that would mean moving to California, going to high school and making new friends. It's not all bad though. Especially as Harrison the most irritating, good looking guy she's ever met and the rest of the soccer team insist on bombarding their way into her life. They say when one door closes another one opens. What people forget to mention though, is that most of the time you'll be violently shoved through the new door with barely a moment to breath.

Follow my Instagram for any updates and if you have any questions: @nikki_k123 Alex has been living the same life, with the same routine, repeating it every day. Every day is the same. The one thing she does look forward to is going to cafe de l'amour every morning on her way to school, where she sits and writes, all while seeing Carter Reed. The most popular boy at school who, surprisingly, prefers the solitary life. They go to the same cafe every day, sit at the same tables every day, and notice each other every day, yet are strangers who have never uttered a word to one another. And strangers they shall remain. Perfect strangers. But that's about to change. . . . . . I watched as he kept his eyes trained on the notebook in front of him where he aimlessly drew spirals and coils that surrounded each other, trapped each other, and suffocated each other. My eyes traced the movement of his pen, following each line he drew onto the paper. "Your tea." I snapped out of my trance and looked up, thanking Katy before she went back to the counter. I turned back and caught him looking at me. I expected him to look away and continue acting like I don't exist. Like he's always done and so have I. What I didn't expect was for him to walk right over and sit with me. "Hi, I'm Carter." PSA: This story is inspired by the Wattpad novel 'Caffeine' by @meddlingkids ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
