But then Christopher Radley makes a reappearance in her life and opens her eyes to a sweeter way of living. As the year draws to a close and a new one begins, Darcy decides that it's about time she turned over a new leaf and marked this year as the ultimate game changer. And with Chris heartbroken over the breakup with his longterm girlfriend, they decide to take on the new year together. To remember this momentous year, she and Chris have one goal: to document everything. A possible future in less than 500 words, if plastic wins. This was my entry for the WattPad/National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic competition back in late 2018. It reached their Top 10 Submissions which, given that there appeared to be well over 5000 entries, was a very pleasant surprise! The competition itself had a limit of 500 words so, for those who keep asking if I intend continuing the story, the answer (for now!) is no - unless I can find a very good reason for adding any more. {𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝟭} Lexi Hooper has been a Harry Potter fan since the very start. One day, Lexi and her friend decide to go to King's Cross station for a memorable cosplay. But what started as a joke, turns out to be both Lexi's dream and her nightmare. Just for a laugh, Lexi starts to run towards the wall between platform 9 and 10, careful not to hit it too hard. But the shocking part is that the wall disappears and she passes the barrier, suddenly finding herself in platform 9 3/4. At first she thinks that she's just dreaming and goes with the flow. But when she figures out that everything is as real as it can get, Lexi realizes that she has the power to change everything and save everyone; because she knows exactly what is going to happen next and how to stop it, even though she is just a Muggle.
