He didn't question it, he jokingly said that it was its magic that kept the rocks floating. Time passed, and different hermits started noticing some strange things happening in the world, like blocks disappearing and re-appearing in a flinch of a second or hermits getting strange headaches, which seemed to only be happening near the rift. Their admin, Xisuma, who was partly merged with the code of the world, felt those strange incidents getting stronger and stronger. After a while, more and more hermits reached out to him, and he decided that he needed to do something as soon as possible, as the rift seemed to get dangerous for his world. But what can one do against something so powerful, it nearly seems as if it came from... a different universe?

Prequel to Elusion. The Hermits failed to open the vault, and King Ren continues to rule the server. Grian receives mysterious compasses from Grumbot, and the hermit's enter the rift to the world of Empires. Some Hermit's stay behind, and while the others are gone, something long forgotten begins it's return...

Screw the Order and Dumbledore, Harry is doing it his way. --------- It's quite a slow story so if you're just interested in when Harry actually time-travels go to the chapter "Time is relative". I'd personally advise not to skip the earlier chapters though because they contain all the backstory and it can become a little confusing to start right in the middle of the story.

Xisumavoid remembers nothing before they came. As a child, he and his twin were kidnapped for their magical properties to be used for unknown purposes. What lies beyond those walls of the tower he grew up in, he doesn't know and he tries not to care. His brother, on the other hand, dreams of nothing else than escaping. Are the brothers indeed fated to be compliant and used forever, or will one convince the other to escape once and for all? Note: this is a one-shot that is part of a series, but can be read on it's own.
