The thing is, this was never supposed to happen. Him feeling. Damian had been taught by his mother to never show emotion. His big brother had taught him that emotion didn't make him weak; it was the best part of him. Damian isn't used to feeling any type of emotion; certainly not grief. So what happens when he suddenly has to deal with this emotion? Will it overwhelm him? How will he react? Will his best friend be there for him? Will his friendship turn into something more? ....sorry I'm not very good at descriptions. This is just a disclaimer that I don't own the DC characters, but the plot is completely mine. ? Some of the story might not follow along completely to the comics or movies, so just bear with me!

The path of emotion is one that can be hard to navigate, and that's just what Damian and Raven will have to do as they face new threats, old faces, strange feelings, and familiar places. It's set in the DCAMU as I feel most people know the ship or were introduced to it via the animated movies. It's set after Batman: Hush (so after TT vs JL and The Judas Contact) and will take lots of comic elements too- though I will be going mainly with the DCAMU characterisation. Just so you know! Damian was raised to never feel affection for others. Raven was raised to supress every emotion she felt. When they grow closer, trouble starts. (Damian is 16 when the book starts, Raven is 17)

This is meant to be set after the events of the Justice League: Dark Apokolips War. I will just assume that the heroes won against Darksied but Raven is still struggling inside with Trigon draining her energy day by day trying to get back out to conquer the world. Raven has been an official relationship for only a few months. What will happen? Will Trigon be free or will Raven win against this mental fight against this demon she calls father?

Hey guys! So with recent, and might I say, exciting events in regards to the upcoming DCAMU movie, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War AND it's very obvious hints at Damirae, who is recent years has become one of my favorite DC ships, becoming canon, I wanted to make a little something to celebrate!
