Highest Ranks: #1 in They Both Die At The End 2/4/19 #1 in population control 2/4/19 #3 in distress- 8/2/18 #22 in short story collection- 1/1/19 |~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~| This story is by Adam Silvera. The cover is owned by Adam Silvera. • Stories may include spoilers. Reading They Both Die At The End beforehand is recommended, but not necessary to enjoy the book. |~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~| Within this book are one-shots that I wrote about TBDATE (I.e. certain characters get endings, an epilogue, theories that I have, etc.) and a story (description below) called The Afterlife in which Rufus and Mateo are taken on crazy adventures. |~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~| It was silent up here. Everything looked so peaceful down below, it was easy to imagine a world where nobody fought. Peace settled over my heart. "Yo, are you seeing this?" Rufus's voice crackled through the earpiece. I looked over at his hang glider and smiled warmly. "Yeah. It's beautiful." "Not as beautiful as you." I snorted, although that's exactly what I had been thinking about him. "Yeah, right. This place is more beautiful than everybody." 'Except you,' I wanted to add. "I was 'flirting', Mateo." "Right. My bad." He didn't respond. I listened to his breath and watched the beauty of The Afterlife go by... • The Afterlife seemed perfect at first. They were with their families again, they had an unlimited supply of activities to do, and they didn't have to worry about anything. That is, they didn't have to worry about anything until a mysterious girl showed up at their door with a note, telling them not to trust anyone and to find someone named Vincenzo Moretti... They had two options: Ignore the note and go make out in their new hot tub; or find Vincenzo and figure out what the hell was going on. Only, it wasn't that simple; after all, the entire fate of The Afterlife now rested upon their shoulders. Xoxo Bella L.

Jasper's voice was like waiting for rain during a drought. You got excited when the clouds went grey, hoping the sky would open and quench your thirst. Even a cool breeze felt like a tease. Every time Jasper opened his mouth it was the same one single drop from a leaking faucet. Yet it was never enough. He was mine. My dear deaf boy. I know you see me. I know you can see me call for your attention. I know you can feel my heart pound and my hands shake when I come near. You don't have to be able to hear to understand these three words. I love you. Do you hear me now?
