Sonic loved his hedgehog, he was like him in a way if he was an average hedgehog with no mobian features and Shadow loved his owner as much as any pet would love his. One day though, Shadow gets lost and comes back full mobian all by the work of Sonic's enemy Eggman. When full mobian, Shadow starts to notice the strange feelings he's always had for Sonic grow more and more. He doesn't know what it's called. Sonic says it's love but the azure already gave his heart to someone else.. .. Note this is an au, all ages and personalities are altered to fit the fic.

3 years ago, Sonic was forced to Marry Fleetaway. For three years he's been kept in the house and tortured. Wearing was Fleetaway likes, saying not to displease him and doing as he says. He drinks in secret and hopes to one day get a divorce. One day, Shadow comes to visit. Becoming found of Fleetaways house wife, voodoo comes to control Sonic on an entirely different level. Sonic being trapped between metal control, and house arrest.

Sonic lived in a world where the LGBTQ community was made illegal! Instead of acceptance, they were jailed and forced to a "rehab" center. Sonic was struggling get any attention from females. It didn't matter how much porn or magazines his friends showed him. His focus was always on the man behind the woman. When he asks his friends what they think, they bully him and his parents threaten to send him to a rehab center. So, he decides to run away. When he does, he applies for a new school to continue his life in secret, and his gender is mis printed. So rather than being forced to be straight and alone. Sonic decides to risk it all continue being a girl, so he could love men in peace. Shadow's highschool was the usual. He was a junior, and had dated his fair share of women with mild content.
