James and Severus has had rough patches before. An arranged marriage is a coin toss and they weren't so lucky. They were in love in the beginning, or Severus most definitely was. That's why they had this agreement. But James seems to have fallen for his husbands best friend. Severus will do anything for Regulus but he is not willing to forfeit James. James has a reputation to protect. He's the president of many many school functions, the main one being a very rich and old fraternity on campus. But being a closeted bisexual in a traditional private university goes wry when a few pledges catch a guy leaving his room at 6 am and he somehow ropes his very unexperienced roommate into this mess. What happens when Remus is tired of the Marauders and leaves them?. He bonds with certain Slytherins that evoke some nasty feelings( 'cough' jealousy) in the Griffindors especially Padfoot. Would James' rotten tomato of a brain understand his true feelings to wards a particular Slytherin.

Severus is tired. Hes in a relationship that is purely conventional and hes tired of living a life without light. His husband however is scared. Scared that if he gets too close he'll accidentally show the affection he held so dear for his husband. Its a idiot in love and a tired chemist who wishes his husband would try. So james makes it his personal mission to get severus snape in love with him again.

At the age of 16, the given witch or wizard will go through a creature inheritance (if that person has creature blood in their family line). Severus Snape goes through an early (and very painful) creature inheritance, and has trouble finding his mate, or rather, coming to terms with who his mate is. James Potter is having the same trouble with his inheritance.

I don't own Harry Potter, all credit belongs to J.K.Rowling. I have my own plot in this story, most characters are the same but their characteristic are a bit different. This is a snames fanfic with a little of drarry in it(maybe, maybe not I don't really know.....), so as an advice: if you have any problems with it please get out and don't read it.
