What if to blend in more with society the Light Sides can shapeshift into animals? I mean you can't have four looking exactly the same that don't leave the house much and appear out of anywhere. This takes place right after Virgil revealed his name. There is GT in this with Virgil as a tiny human and the sides either human or animal. Roman can turn into a grey and white cat, Patton into a Golden Retriever, and Logan can change into a White Cockatoo. The Light Sides think Dark sides just can't shapeshift. In reality Virgil can transform too. Just into a tiny/ defenseless mouse. Any of those animals his fellow sides can turn into can harm him in anyway...and doesn't help not all Light sides are that friendly with a Dark side hanging around. All Virgil can do for now is hope Thomas does not tell his fellow sides his secret, none of them catch him, and stay hidden. In human form he can talk to any of them. He's actually pretty close to Patton and getting there with the other two, but once he sees the animals his mouse instincts come into play and he gets anxious.
