Devan was a 23-year-old primatologist who studied gorillas in the jungles of the Congo Basin in Africa. Growing up, he had a love for animals, especially apes. He was fascinated by everything about them, the way they walked, the way they cared for each other, and the way they fought. But unfortunately, his pursuit of this fascination will kill him. While he and his partner were deep within the jungle, they were attacked, and he sacrificed himself so his friend could live. Now he was given a second chance at life as a reward for his selfless act. He was reincarnated into a new world as a baby ape in a troop consisting of fifteen gorillas. But these primates were unique, to say the least. In this new world, apes have gone through a massive evolutionary phase giving them unique traits.
