Going for a mythological theme, almost, with my own spin on it. kinda inspired. This Crossmare story. It's not uncommon for God to play, befriend or even toy with other mortals. Nightmare finds himself in this predicament, a mortal guard catching his eye, he couldn't help but grow fond of this mortal. Cross never thought he'd ever catch the eye of a God, especially one like Nightmare, scared but stubborn, Cross tried to balance his life.

Specifically about Lord Nightmare, who has never been known to be the gracious type. The rumor says that their Dark Lord is a blood draining vampire, and their beloved Lord Dream is ignorant to the truth because Lord Nightmare has put a hex on him. But what is the truth?
