"I don't like seeing Samuel around you, Binye." He said, his tone reeked of possession and the anger he felt was fueled by her indifference to the situation. His eyes held a pleading look within them and Binye felt forced to look away quickly, the look in his eyes evoked an emotion that she couldn't seem to understand. "We were just talking Jay. Relax." She said trying to diffuse the situation by offering him the first cookie out of the package she had just opened. "I'd only calm down if you fed that to me." He responded with a lazy smirk, his hair wet from sweat and stuck to his forehead, eyes glittering from underneath them. She could literally feel his breath on her face, he smelt of Axe and perspiration. Slowly, she stretched out her arm to place the cookie in his mouth, her heart skipped a bit the moment she felt his tongue on the tip of her finger as they maintained eye contact while he grabbed the cookie with his teeth. "Nawa oh, the sexual tension here is choking guys!" A voice said and they both snapped out of their intimate moment.

To some it was hell, to some it was home. To some, it was a place to catch cruise and live your best life. To some it was a place where you ruled, where you were the main man at the top of the food chain. To some it was a place to hide under a façade. To some it was a place that determined what the future held. But to all, it was a place that brought challenges - physical and emotional. A place that brought self-discovery; a place that exposed the secret and the reality of life. Final year at River Brook Academy had finally come - basically what every secondary school student looked forward to. Suffice it to say, that it wasn't half as normal as the other years they'd spent. It came with whirlwinds, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes...but what happens when Ore Jumai, Ayo Balogun, Bolu Jayeola, Nina Ogbeide and their friends all learn what they truly needed? Would they be able to take it and stand? Or would they leave it and fall to the ground? ****** Started: 24th December, 2020. When you hear St Louis secondary school, all you think of is money and pretty students, what else? But behind the gates of St Louis lies the stories of young teens. Think of Yobanna, popular teen model, perfect face, perfect circle but a not so perfect family. Think of the girl he falls for, Selena, timid and at the other end of his kind of life. In a game of class and hierarchy, Selena would be found no where on the chart. Throw in Cynthia, the insecure bully who never meets up with her siblings standard, then Ken, Kim, Precious,Zion... And it's a total rollercoaster. No matter how we looked at it and how we see things, people defer a lot and only show what the world wants to see and tuck things that they consider shameful away in a dark room. Being teen was hectic and then throw in a lot of family drama, unrequited crushes, fame and then you have a lot of stories to tell. Perspectives tells you the stories of teens trying not to drown in it all. Stories from everyone's point of view. Chioma Chris Writer of Kaftan My Naija High school story We meet again
