Samaina is my favorite on screen couple and their innocence has my heart. While thinking of the various ways in which Samaina could have met, a thought struck my mind, 'What if Samaina had an arranged marriage'? This OS dwells further into that thought process and deals with the tradition of arranged marriages which till date remains the preferred way of entering into matrimony by majority of Indians.

The story is based on the show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. The show is set in the early 1990s when technology has not yet made it advances in the Indian peninsula. The OS captures the beautiful journey of two strangers Sameer and Naina who meet during an overnight train journey and develop and instan liking for each other. As the journey progresses, they open up to each other and share some wonderful conversation together. Through this story I want to tap the enigma called destiny which makes unimmaginable things possible. The characters of my story are exactly the same as the show's protagonists. This is my first attempt at writing and I dedicate this SS to my friends who encouraged me to write something on Samaina.
