The war is finally over but Aang is heart broken after seeing Katara and Zuko together. To avoid the pain, he makes a decision.

I said there would be a second book, so here it is. When Aang was born a surprise happened. His mother gave birth to a sister. Twins were rare in the Air Nomads, nonetheless identical twins. Being identical, the monks knew that they had to be separated. They kept her away from Aang for they didn't want him to be distracted with a sibling for males are the main fighters for Air Nomads and girls were almost always left out unless they show great potential. Will they ever meet?

It's been over 100 years, and we have always thought there was only one airbender left, the Avatar. But there is another. Her name is Ara, and when she meets team avatar, everything changes......Follow Ara on her adventure of struggles, laughs, tears, action, and even a little bit of romance.

Aang, first born son. Zahira, younger twin sister to Aang. Same bloodline, same air bending mastery, same destiny as Avatar. One night changes everything for these siblings as they are plunged into the icy waters of the North and South Pole. Zahira, who lived on the Northern Air Temple, flees when the Fire Nation manages to attack her home. Aang, who lives on the Southern Air Temple, flees when he hears of his destiny as Avatar. Now, as the twin Avatars awaken 100 years later, not knowing the other was alive, they must travel the world to master the elements in order to avenge the other. When an unlikely event manages to twine them together once more, Zahira finds that Aang has found his own family in the midst of his travels- along with his own enemies.

This is a Modern ATLA Au! (I changed their ages up just a bit) This also takes place in highschool. Aang is new to town, a 14 year old freshman. Katara is also 14, one year younger than her Sophmore brother, Sokka. They also encounter a blind girl named Toph, also 14. And lastly Zuko, 16. Another warning this fanfic may include language and themes unsettling for some viewers. There will be labled trigger warnings in cases such as that. The war is over and it's time for Aang and his friends to reform the world and bring harmony. But the war left scars in the world, many things have changed in over hundred years. While team avatar tries to bring back balance they meet new and old friends, fight new enemies and learn more about themselves.
