King Manasseh Manas'seh was twelve years old when he began to reign and he reigned 55 years in Judah. He did what was evil in the eyes of the lord according to the abominable practices of the nations whom the lord drove out before the people of Israel. For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had broken down and erected altars to Baal , he burned his sons as offerings and provoked the lord to anger . He was a king filled with wrath , a king who was feared but above all he was a king that was in love .
